Welcome to Warrington Mencap
. .

.

.

We work with adults with a learning disability and their families and carers to enable them to live their lives as independently as possible. We support young adults in their own and group homes, assist in gaining employment and also run weekly social groups for young adults in and around the Warrington area. We fight for equal rights, campaign for greater opportunities and challenge attitudes and prejudice.

Our Vision-

Our aim is 'To work alongside individuals to enable them to achieve their potential'.
We want Warrington to be a town where young adults with learning disabilities have equal rights to choice, opportunity and respect, with the support they need in order to do this.

Programmes and Activities-

As well as our supported housing services we run weekly social groups for adults with learning disabilities including disco's, sporting events, arts and crafts. We also organise holidays and trips e.g theatre trips, days out and also camping trips.
